An Introduction to Art Presentation & Custom Picture Framing

Please join the ICAA Southern California Neoclassicists in celebrating the arts community in Los Angeles with Art Services Incorporated.

Daniel Schneider-Weiler, of Art Services Inc., welcomes us to their shop for an introduction to the specialty of art presentation, with a brief history of custom picture framing, from its inception to present-day techniques.

Daniel will detail the variety of styles and components available for custom frames, as well as art displays for three dimensional objects, such as mounts, pedestals, and vitrines.

He will discuss issues of preservation, restoration and upkeep, and touch on notable collaborations with the design community, such as Lucite products for Charles Hollis Jones and custom mirrors.
