The City of Pasadena has been working with Pasadena Heritage to seek new design ideas for suicide prevention barriers for the historic Colorado Street Bridge. The ICAA SoCal Chapter is partnering with Pasadena Heritage to host a Design Charrette. The Charrette will include a brief talk about the bridge and the recent efforts to design appropriate barriers, and a short walk to the bridge for outdoor sketching. The goal is to create a safer community while preserving the beauty of this historic and beloved bridge.
To ensure the safety of our community, all participants will be required to submit proof of Covid vaccination prior to the Charrette. In addition, all participants will be required to wear a mask when indoors, and social distance precautions will be observed.
