The program covers the nomenclature, grammar, and proportional relationships of the canonical Tuscan Order through freehand drawing of a Tuscan column and entablature. This introduction lays the foundation for understanding all of the classical orders and for exploring their use within an architectural composition. The course credits 5 points towards completion of the ICAA Certificate in Classical Architecture, and is AIA eligible.
