PAST EVENTS

We celebrate design through a variety of programs appealing to our broad membership. While the Chapter’s core educational mission remains constant, our programs reflect our diverse and growing membership:

• Lectures
• Studio drawing classes
• Field sketching
• Community events in designer showrooms and special locales including our Annual Summer Party
• The Neo Classicist group, made up of emerging professionals and students, dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders
• Private tours of significant historic buildings rarely opened to the public
• The New Heights program for middle school students, a dynamic and interactive study of classical architecture through meaningful observation, critical thinking, field study and studio experiences.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, our Chapter has adapted and continues to remain active through a robust slate of online programs, including webinars, online drawing classes, field sketching classes, a weekly virtual sketching program on Instagram “Sketch Together at Home Event,” and videos of lectures and classes.
